St. Patty’s Day in NYC

There is really nothing like a New York City holiday. Think about it; New Year’s Eve in NYC is one of the biggest events in the world. So why would any other holiday be any different?

Enter St. Patty’s Day. Enter hoards of green necklaces, kilts, bagpipes, green beer and whiskey, and happy-go-lucky redheads with “Kiss Me I’m Irish” t-shirts. Yes, yes, St. Patty’s in New York is like no other.

And this year, the St. Patty’s Day Parade will be held on March 17th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. It will start around 5th Avenue and 44th Street and it should end somewhere around 79th street, between 2:00 and 3:00 in the afternooon.
